Some First UU Church groups meet online, in-person (at the church) or a combination of both!
Below you will find our current list of adult groups. If you are interested in any of these groups and would like to participate, please send an email with your first and last name and the group(s) you're interested in to programs@firstuu.org.

Changing Women

Mindful Meditation

Houston Women's Group

Climate Action Team

In addition to our regular monthly meeting for visioning and planning, we hold monthly potlucks and are engaged in community and church-wide steps to sustainable practices
Garden Team

The Garden Team cares
for our front garden throughout the year by planting, harvesting,
composting, weeding, and working with the children of the church a few times per year to teaching skills & create joy at digging in the dirt.
Parent's Group

Especially for parents with babies, toddlers, and pre-school children to learn ways to have happy, healthy, satisfying family lives through ideas, support, and community.

The book group has been meeting for more that 20 years. They put together a book list over the summer, then meet weekly to discuss them.

Animal Ministry of Houston
6:30 pm - 7:15 pm

Join us for our regular Animal Ministry meeting, where we’ll share updates on upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved in our work supporting animals and the people who care for them.
Sanctuary Choir

No-audition, volunteer FUUCH choir usually sings during services two Sundays a month.
