“Permaculture Can Make Our Future Better”: A Minister's Forum with Bob Randall, Ph.D.

    May 31, 2022

Permaculture is an approach to land management and settlement design that adopts arrangements observed in flourishing natural ecosystems. Permaculture arose in the 1970s as an answer to the principal ethical dilemma of the last century—how to give cultures a chance to be permanent despite the 20th century’s new-found nuclear, fossil fuel, and resource waste potential to extinct us. 20% of the world’s peoples are consuming 80% of the resources or thereabouts, emitting about the same percentage of greenhouse gases.

Join us to learn more about this important concept which was formulated in opposition to Western industrialized methods and in congruence with indigenous and traditional knowledge.
