Membership 101 Membership 101

February 10, 2022Membership 101 is a pull-out Inquirer's Series session taking place on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. This session is a required step on the Path to Membership, and is offered in a hybrid format to allow for both online and in-person participation. Navigating Grief (Closed Group) Navigating Grief (Closed Group)

February 17, 2022The Spaces for Reflection and Sharing program has wound down, but Rev. Scott is preparing to offer a grief workshop for First Church members and friends early in the new year. Navigating Grief is a class for those experiencing grief due to a significant life change, such as death of a loved one or divorce.
This is a six-consecutive-week course, and participants should plan to attend all six sessions. While most of the session work is done in a group process by participants, facilitators have information to impart as well. There is “group-think,” self-processing, table-sharing opportunities, and some writing work between sessions. This group is closed, meaning that no new participants will be admitted during this cycle. Please stay tuned for the next cycle if you are interested in participating.
