This group meets in a hybrid format, online and in-person together. April 23, 2022(2 events) 1:30 pm: Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education – in the Fireside Room 2:00 pm: "Trans Youth, Religion, and Health" Panel Discussion – The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Houston, as part of their Ministers’ Forums series, will be presenting a panel discussion to disseminate accurate information about the spirituality and health of transgender youth in Texas, and the legal issues they and their families face. Necessitated by the dangerous political theatrics of the state’s elected leaders, the panel will include local faith leaders, health professionals, legal experts, and transgender individuals and members of their families. All who wish to know more about these issues are encouraged to attend, and the event will be livestreamed at https://firstuu.org/livestreaming/. |
