First Unitarian Universalist Book Club

Our book club has met every Sunday for many years. Each week we discuss approximately 60 pages of mostly nonfiction books; the topics we have covered include science, literature, religion, history, philosophy, and technology. We have also decided to occasionally read some nonfiction books (see the list of current and past books at: firstuubook.blogspot.com). 

During the meeting, each person in turn has a chance to talk about their impressions of the section of the book we’ve read that week. We keep a list of future books and we are open to book suggestions from members. Every so often we vote for a list of books to read next. 

Our meetings are on a First UU Houston Zoom link which is sent out each week to members via the book club email.
