Pasta & Protest: A Sort-of New Annual Tradition

You know about our famous spaghetti fundraiser… where the ministers cook delicious spaghetti using secret family recipes and the staff waits on you hand and foot! Noodles, sauce, wine, and fun with friends – what could be better?

After dinner, we’ll head into the sanctuary where our brilliant new Director of Music and Arts Dr. Loneka Battiste will lead a workshop on the Black musical aesthetic. She’ll lead us through an exploration of the Black music aesthetic as a form of resistance through singing and playing instruments.
