General Assembly Programming & Group Sessions
We begin Saturday with a shared virtual experience for all participants. The Opening Program will introduce Meet the Moment as a movement-wide framework that calls Unitarian Universalists to shared analysis-building, collective discernment, and faithful action in response to today’s shifting cultural, generational, political, and religious realities. Following the Opening Program, participants will join Wave Cohorts, with options to participate virtually or locally, for deeper engagement with the practices of Meet the Moment. Participants are invited to join the first Featured Speaker address of the afternoon. A second Featured Speaker session will follow, offering another opportunity to gather and listen to a featured voice.
The Ware Lecture is a treasured General Assembly tradition that invites prophetic voices to speak to our faith and our times. This year’s Ware Lecturer will challenge and inspire us to live more fully into our values, to open ourselves to transformation, and to take bold action for justice and liberation.
