Your First Sunday Visit
Sunday service is in our sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. The service usually lasts about an hour and ten minutes. After worship, you may want to get better aquatinted with informal conversation in Channing Hall over coffee, pastries, or a light lunch.
Guests and newcomers are also invited every Sunday to "Finding Your Way at First Church," a living room-style conversation in the Meditation Room where one of the ministers or church leaders will be available to answer questions and offer you support on your faith journey.
Classes for children and middle school youth are at 10:30 a.m. and begin in the sanctuary. Your children are invited to join the class any Sunday.
Class for High school youth begins in the sanctuary at 10:30 as well. Their class runs until 12:15. This class welcomes any high school aged youth every Sunday morning. This class welcomes any high school aged youth every Sunday morning.
Adult Discussion Circle meets at 12:00 p.m.
Every Sunday an optional, inexpensive lunch is available following the service. Please join us for conversation and a tasty meal.
Come visit our Welcome Table, in the front courtyard, to find out information about activities, events, classes and opportunities.
Childcare is available in the nursery for infants through pre-schoolers from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Newcomers often enjoy our Special Holidays and Celebrations, so we hope you find out more and join us.
Children are welcome at services. If your child becomes restless, you may move to Channing Hall where the service can also be heard.
Dress is casual and comfortable.
Our church building is wheel chair accessible.
Large print hymnals are available.
Hearing devices for hearing impaired are available.
