Thoreau campus will be offering “Exploring Unitarian Universalism” workshop series once a month after service, from 12:15 to 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend any or all of the workshops. Come with your questions, personal experiences, and open mind!

Each workshop covers a different topic, and is especially designed to acquaint newcomers to Unitarian Universalism, First UU Church, and the meaning of membership. But even seasoned members will enjoy the engaging activities, getting to know others and deepening their connection to our faith and community.

Workshop Schedule

Workshop A (Jan 20) How we Worship

Workshop B (Feb. 24) UU Roots and the Story of our Congregation

Workshop C (March 17): The Meaning of Membership at First UU Church
Workshop C Make-up (March 24): The Meaning of Membership at First UU Church

Monthly workshops will continue in the Spring and Summer if there is interest.

New members should attend Workshop C and join by April 2 if you wish to vote in the June Annual Congregational Meeting.
