June 22nd — Pride Festival & Parade
It is going to be another great Pride Day in Houston! On June 22nd, all Unitarian Universalist Churches in the Houston Metro Area will join the festivities and members and friends will march along the Pride UU Float.
The Festival starts at Noon and ends at 7 p.m. Visit the booths, enjoy food and drinks, and have fun listening to music bands. Kids will also be entertained with their own activities. Celebrate with us at Hermann Square. Admission is free! For more info visit: https://uuhoustonnetwork.org

For those participating in the march, please gather at the lineup before 6:00 p.m. It is our understanding that access to the staging area will be closed at that time and you will not be allowed into the staging area.

To facilitate everybody’s participation, free Lyft transportation will be offered from First UU Church to the parade staging area. This will be available until 5:15 p.m. Come early to 5200 Fannin Street (park on Southmore Street or parking lot across from the Southmore Church entrance) to make sure you have enough time to take a Lyft and arrive at the parade staging area before 6:00 p.m.!!!
