Pumpkin Carving – Oct 28, Sunday- Parents are invited to this family activity, which happens after children leave the service at 10:45-11:30.

 All children & youth will carve pumpkins and then take them home for Halloween.  Please bring a pumpkin to carve.  We will have some extra pumpkins so come even if you don’t remember to get a pumpkin.  We will also have carving tools, tables & bowls for goo and Elsa, who collects the seeds, toasts them and brings them to share with the whole congregation the following Sunday.  There will be no other RE classes today.

Carol will be away at the Church Fall Retreat.  Kathy Kinson will be this Sunday’s DRE.

The nursery is available as usual from 9:30-1:30 for parents to attend church and whatever groups they want to attend.


Parent Group (Babies-PreK)- Please join Sonal and David who who will lead this Sunday’s discussion of chapter 3 of The Secrets of Happy Families by Bruce Feiler about the power of creating a family mission statement.  11:45 am-1:00 pm, room 302.  Nursery care is available for your children during this time.


 Middle & High School: All youth here at church this Sunday can participate in Pumpkin Carving or attend the church service.  Many of our HS youth are at the weekend rally at UBarU.  No middle school or high school youth group this week.  We resume next Sunday!


Middle School:  Pumpkin Carving this week will be fun!   We return to Java Lava Cafe for a field trip on Nov. 4 and begin exploration of a new topic.  Congratulations to all those who participated in our By-Stander Training!  And we had fun at the overnight, except for missing those friends who couldn’t make it.  Look forward to seeing everyone soon.
