Social Justice Team (MD)
Our social justice efforts in the Houston Area are guided by our Social Justice Team leaders. They help to implement activities for social justice through suggestions from members of the church and our community.
When we have concerns, when we see the need for change, when we want to help, we find ways to act and ways to build relationships with individuals and organizations. We find ways to get involved and ways to contribute.
For more information about our current activities, look for our Social Justice Guide on the literature rack near the church office or email us at email@example.com.SJT Calendar 2018_19

Our Signature Social Justice Project, Neighbor to Neighbor, encompasses working in the Third Ward with Project Row Houses. We tutor and mentor single mothers, provide nurturing childcare for these mothers to attend classes; tutor neighborhood youth hoping to go to college; and tutor and mentor middle school girls and boys.
