Adult Education - Programs Sponsored by the Adult Programs Committee
Many programs for adults at First Church are sponsored by the Adult Programs Committee. The programs are as varied as the congregation and there is a little something for everyone.
On Sunday mornings, the Adult Programs Committee sponsors programs at 8:15, 9:30 and 11:30 AM. Visitors and newcomers are always invited to attend. The 8:15 AM group is a book discussion with the group choosing the books they wish to read and discuss. At the 9:30 and 11:30 AM discussion groups, dicussion leaders choose a variety of topics for discussion that appeal to our diverse congregation. See the church newsletter for the facilitators and discussion topics each week.
Child care is provided during programs for adults, except on Saturdays, if reservations are made at least one week in advance by emailing childcare@firstuu.org with the time, date,
name of program, age and name of children, and your name and phone number.
