Thoreau Campus – Time for Spring Planting

Map Unavailable

Date(s) - Saturday, Mar 2, 2019
9:00 am - 12:00 pm

It’s that time of year to start planting flowers, renewing beds, mulching and making our campus springtime welcoming.

Thoreau members Dan Druecker and Jan Elias will start working in the front yard on Saturday, on March 2, from 9:00 AM until around 12 noon, maybe longer.

We will probably be working at the Clayhead property every couple of weeks until we get everything spruced up for our Grand Opening in early May 2019. (Look for details in other emails). The more people who help, the sooner we can get this finished.

If you want to join us, please bring what ever “tools” you might need including gloves. We have some sunscreen available.

The building will be open so if there’s something you’re interested in “doing” inside, come on out.

We still need to finish painting the outside trim white if that’s your thing to do.

We need to designate parking places so we “don’t waste space” by parking too far apart. Measuring the spaces takes time so if you’re wanting it done sooner, come on out to help.

We also need to start power-washing the exterior surfaces.

Anything bugging you about our space/building, now is your chance to come help make it better.
