First Unitarian Universalist Church of Houston, Texas
A Community of Love Beyond Belief: Transforming Ourselves, Houston and the World
Note: Our website hosting service is experiencing technical difficulties. Our regular website will return ASAP.
The title for Natalie Browne's sermon Sunday, May 26 is: "What I Learned About Us in My Time as Religious Educator"
Come join us each Sunday morning for a joyous and meaningful worship service. We hold our services at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. We're located at 5200 Fannin St. (at Southmore), in the Museum District. We think you'll feel at home here, be uplifted by the spirited music, challenged by the message from the pulpit, and welcomed into fellowship following the service when you may choose to converse over coffee, enjoy a light brunch, or join a discussion group or adult spiritual development class.
We believe that spiritual understanding is a lifelong journey and we encourage our children, youth and adults to be curious and explore.
Inspired by beauty, nature, science, great writers, religious texts, we gain insight from many sources.
Believing in the inherent worth and dignity of each individual, we celebrate the individual's experience of spirituality.
With a history of activism and social justice, we find ways to put our faith into action.
Unitarian Universalism is a faith that welcomes people of diverse ages, sexual orientation, gender identities, theologies, ethnic backgrounds and religious heritages.
We welcome you.
